fdu group partnered with Trowers & Hamlins to present an honest and engaging panel discussion on the relationship between a board, its advisors and shareholders during a significant transaction.

Moderated by Richard Young, former editor of Real Finance, we were joined by a panel of experienced professionals who shared their experiences, cautionary tales and war stories as Richard guided us through the opportunities and pitfalls around these critical relationships during a deal. It was a lively debate and we’d like to thank our panel guests:

Fraser Park: former CFO at Hailo, Ubiquisys and Tandberg Television
KP Doyle: Deputy CEO Nuffield Health
Thomas Chambers: Non-Executive Director, various companies
Antony Isaacs: Founding Partner at ARI Advisers, strategic corporate finance advisers
Richard Hildebrand: Partner at Trowers & Hamlins

“A very professional event, with panellists who displayed in-depth knowledge of the situations NED’s and CFO’s can face. Well chaired by a moderator who asked highly pertinent questions and gave opportunities for each of those on the panel to show their strengths.”

“An excellent informative, well hosted event. Interesting panellists and a great chair. A good opportunity for networking and sharing best practice and experiences on deals.”
