fdu is proud to be hosting another of its Committed to Growth Business Breakfast events. We are delighted to welcome back Rory Coleman who will be speaking to us about ‘Process of Change – How to define your future, and what to do when the future defines us’. A hugely current topic, change is inescapable with far-reaching consequences affecting all areas, from politics to business. Rory believes in harnessing this change to bring about positive results in the workplace.
Rory is a high performance running coach who launched the ‘Average2Awesome’ corporate coaching programme which focuses on health, fitness and wellbeing. This programme was successfully piloted at Dixons Carphone and rolled out to GoCompare and Smeg UK with dramatic effect. As well as fitness and weight loss, participants developed closer working relationships and showed greater productivity in the workplace.
Rory has recently bounced back from being struck down by Guillain-Barre Syndrome, which initially left him paralysed from the neck down and having to learn to walk again without a future. He attributes his remarkable recovery to both his determination as well as his fitness.
Join us to hear about Rory’s story, his motivation behind his personal fitness journey and how he translates his process of change and his coaching programme to perfectly exemplify the synergies in performance across both business and sport.
