Fergal is an experienced board chair and non-executive director (NED), currently of a multi-site organisation with assets in excess of £50m and 750 staff, a private equity backed company supporting schools/trusts back offices, and a privately held managed learning technology-for-schools business. He has led four different organisations and held senior business development roles in a FTSE 100 company and a $4Bn turnover privately held international group. Fergal’s in-depth understanding of the education landscape, including maintained, academy, independent and international sectors has helped him build a fast growth, highly successful entrepreneurial business in the SME space, appearing in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 list and winning major sector awards. He also holds an MBA from a leading business school.
