Rationale for Recruitment In line with the growth of the company, a Senior Researcher is required to join fdu.

Position Overview

This is fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly expanding professional services business based in the heart of London. Reporting directly to a Principal, your duties and responsibilities will include:-

About you

  • Supporting the Principal with business development activities and meeting prospective Clients.
  • Helping prepare Engagement Letters, Position Profiles, Candidate summaries, position advertisements, Candidate reports and compiling Client status reports with priority on quality and accuracy.
  • Conduct extensive identification, sourcing & referencing of Candidates related to fdu’s Recruitment models. This will include:
  • Actively profiling & approaching potential, current and future candidates.
  • Desk (Database, Internet, Bloomberg, magazines & newspapers etc) & telephone based research.
  • Assessing and interviewing Candidates for assignments.
  • Helping to track Client activity and Candidate status throughout the lifecycle of a relationship with a Client and / or a search process.
  • Working closely with Clients to make arrangements for Candidate interviews.
  • Presenting Candidates to Clients and advising them as to their next most appropriate course of action relating to process, decision making and hiring.
  • Ensuring a consistently high level of Information Management and Control of database information.

Knowledge and Experience

  • A minimum of 2-5 years background in Executive Search, Recruitment or In-house recruitment related environments where sourcing, attracting and managing candidates through a process has played a key part of their role.
  • Ideally direct experience of Finance Recruitment.
  • Excellent PC skills.
  • Degree level qualified.

About the role

Establish fdu as a leading Recruitment practice in mid level finance recruitment, by winning and delivering new Client mandates and attracting high caliber Candidates.

About you

  • Demonstrable track record of high billings and achievement in Finance recruitment.
  • Project manage Client activity and Candidate status throughout the lifecycle of a recruitment process.
  • Demonstrable industry knowledge with a thick ‘black book’ of contacts.
  • Successful background in mid – senior level Finance Recruitment demonstrated by stellar billings.
  • Proven ability to engender trust with Clients and empathise with their challenges.
  • Good leadership and people management skills.
  • Results-driven, tenacious attitude with rigorous accountability for achieving high levels of individual and company performance.
  • Degree educated

Job Description

The role will involve working closely with Principals, Senior Consultants, the Research and Back Office Teams supporting them in the delivery of internal projects. This is a fast-paced, delivery focused environment which will require the successful intern to be detail oriented, pragmatic and possess a customer service ethic.

Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Mapping business development company and people targets.
  • Quantifying and qualifying these targets with relevant background information – company details, people details and relevant reference information.
  • Working with frontline Consultants to create target environments relevant o industry sectors locations.

System Information

  • Assist with the creation of Client/Candidate/Contact Records on fdu’s CRM database system.
  • Assist in ongoing data quality exercises.
  • Assist in data enrichment projects.

Marketing

  • Assisting in the coordination of Client close processes, linking into Marketing exercises.

Additional

  • General office tasks such as document creation etc.

Likely Knowledge and Experience

  • Undergraduate or graduate from college.
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel and PPT).
  • Investigative nature.
  • Looking to develop their current skills and be open to learning new things.
  • Able to manage a list of tasks and reprioritise as required.
  • Be able to work as part of a team but also able to use initiative, managing a workload.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Methodical, process driven, analytical.
  • Good communication skills (written and oral).

fdu is looking for an Intern to join our team for a minimum of 3 months full time, ready to have the first experience to “real world” after college.
